Who killed them?!

The Murder Mystery Evening is a unique, classic Whodunit with a Hen Party twist. The activity is fully interactive and the ideal entertainment for any group of girls, it's the best way to get everyone involved and laughing!

Its time to break away from the typical Hen Weekend activities and that's why you need the Murder Mystery Evening. There are two scenarios to choose from, both of them are very different as one is based in the 1920's and the other is modern day and we will go over those a bit later.

The fully immersive activity included professional actors who will play some of the key roles as well as ensuring everything goes smoothly. The Hen has a starring part, as do plenty of the other girls as there are more roles that need to be performed. The best part is anyone who doesn't have a role will play as a detective.

The murderer is a total unknown so you need to put your detective skills to the test, uncover the clues and unwrap the mystery itself. Just don't go around accusing everyone until you get a confession, that's not how it works!

The activity is available day or night, but we recommend doing it in the evening so you can have a delicious dinner included. Lets be honest, all that thinking and pondering will make anyone hungry.

The scenarios you can choose from during the Murder Mystery Evening:

There are a couple of different scenarios that you can choose from, but if you fancy something different you can always request it. Some changes aren't possible but most of them are, just speak to our team if you want to add a character, or something embarrassing for the Bride-to-be.

Hen Party: Murder Mystery - You and the girls are ready for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood but all of a sudden one of you is cast as a murderer! Step onto the red carpet at the launch of a new, celebrity magazine called Oi! before the fully immersive experience begins and one of you is discovered to be the murderer. You play celebrity characters and of course the live actors are there to bring this production to life.

Death & The Maiden Voyage - Based in the 1920's, this fully immersive experience is a scenario on a chic ocean liner. You and the girls will be enjoying cocktail hour when the photographer mysteriously goes missing... your task is to find out who murdered them!

Why book the Murder Mystery Evening for a Hen Party?

Firstly its completely different to all other Hen Party activities so if you fancy something outside of the traditional, more common activities then this is one for you. Also, its a great laugh with the girls, nothing quite compares to accusing your friend of murder, even if it is just for fun!

Kill two birds with one stone! There is a delicious dinner option available to you and its great at splitting up the evening and making the mystery play out for longer.

It's perfect for larger groups of 20 or more, although groups of 8 or more are welcome to book it. There are very few day time activities that can keep a group of 20 women entertained but the Murder Mystery Evening is certainly one of them. Everyone is able to participate as all of you will have a part to play in the mystery.

The activity can be held in your apartment, or a private room you have hired out elsewhere, meaning you could save yourself some money. However, if you don't have anything organised we can provide a function room in a popular venue.

What to do before or after the Murder Mystery Evening:

Edinburgh has so much to offer a Hen Do and we start with the traditional Mini Highland Games! Its truly hysterical and ideal for a warm summers day in Scotland... although they don't exist so a mild spring day will do.
