If you’re looking to celebrate your last weekend of freedom somewhere closer to home—without sacrificing the thrills and debauchery of a classic hen party—look no further than Liverpool. The city is bursting with high energy, gourmet food, pulsating nightlife, a rich culture, and excellent shopping.

Liverpool’s vibrant culture and nightlife are unmatched anywhere else in the UK. Not only has the city been voted as the European capital of culture, but it's also considered one of the top 5

places in the UK to host a hen party. So, it's safe to say Liverpool will be a great place to send your bride off in unbeatable style.

It also holds the title for being the capital of pop—home to more chart-topping artists than anywhere else in the world. But to us, Liverpool will always be number one for hen parties, simply because the options are endless. Some of the most popular hen activities in Liverpool include the Mersey Games, nude life drawing, disco dodgeball, a pamper party with a twist, and cocktail making.

Dance activities are also particularly popular for our Liverpool hen dos, and we offer a Grease Girls Dance Workshop, Pole and Burlesque Dancing Classes, and one inspired by the classic feel-good movie, Dirty Dancing.

Ladies, be prepared: in Liverpool after dark, the motto is go hard or go home. The stunning city is guaranteed to give the bride's tribe a night to remember. And, once again, it's not just us who thinks so. Along with all its other accolades, Liverpool was voted the city with ‘Britain's Best Nightlife'. So it should go without saying that it is one of the best UK hen party locations, especially for girls looking for a good time.

With bars, clubs, comedy venues, and restaurants on every road, Liverpool's relatively compact city centre makes it ideal for a bar crawl. You won’t be short of variety either, from cocktail bars and waterfront venues to massive dance warehouses and clubs.

Some of our most popular hen party activities in Liverpool put its nightlife at centre stage, whether that’s our VIP Bar & Club Pass for Matthew Street, a Bar Crawl with Buffs, boarding the Party Bus, or Nightclub Entry with a VIP & Drinks Package.

As for the best parts of Liverpool to go drinking, the main nightlife hub is Concert Square. The area is always a hive of activity, where bars and clubs converge onto a central courtyard which is constantly brimming with partygoers. With a seven-day-a-week party mantra, Concert Square also boasts some of the biggest clubs in the city.

If you want to keep the party going even later on your Liverpool hen do, head directly for the Baltic Triangle, where you'll find massive warehouses which have been converted into superclubs. If you’re looking for something a little less rave-focussed, though, we’d also recommend exploring Seel Street, Ropewalks, Matthew Street, Hardman Street, or the Docklands.

Public transport in Liverpool is super easy and super affordable, something that all our hen parties like to hear, especially when it comes to getting back to the hotel after a particularly late night.

Operated by Merseytravel, Liverpool has an army of buses, ferries, and trains to get you where you need to go. There are 70 train lines, and the two main bus terminals in the city centre are Liverpool One and Queens Square.

If you have some downtime during your hen weekend and want to catch up on some shopping, head to Liverpool’s prime retail destinations. These can be found on Bold Street, Great Charlotte Street, Hanover Street, Stafford Street, Williamson Square, and Whitechapel, and all of them are accessible with the metro or bus service.

If you’re looking for something to eat, the scenic Albert Dock should be your first port of call. Anyone looking to avoid getting stuck in a scrum of tourists should be sure to avoid North John Street and Whitechapel during the day and keep away from Duke Street at night.
