And, it's certainly a city worth exploring. And, it's made for it. Much of city is pedestrianised, making it ideal for an afternoon stroll and taking in some of those stunning sights and attractions.
However, if you are all about the discovering and less about the walking, Prague also has a very fast and reliable metro system, which carries around 600 million passengers per year and connects to everywhere in the city. It's also super easy to use, which is always a plus when it comes to a hen weekend abroad.
When we say, the metro connects to everywhere in the city, we mean it. Between the Green Line (Line A), Yellow Line (Line B) and the Red Line (Line C), you have access to the 57 metro stations that connects the city. A 24-hour ticket will set you back about 110 CZK (£3.). And, just because there are no turnstiles, does not mean the train is free, you will have to buy and validate your ticket before entering the metro platform.
If you want to avoid being slapped with a £26 fine, we suggest you avoid crossing the road while the light is red, even if no cars are coming as this is illegal. While it's not enough to ruin the weekend, it is definitely worth a few drinks, so only cross when the light is green and keep your money for all the bars and clubs Prague has on offer instead.
