Newcastle Hen Weekend ideas

One of our most popular UK destinations, Newcastle was voted 8th best party city in the world, it's no surprise to us that year after year our hen parties head there for the weekend of their lives!

The nightlife is vibrant and hectic with two main areas competing for your attention on your hen weekend, The Bigg Market and The Quayside, both of which are guaranteed to entertain your hen party with ease and keep you busy until the sun comes up.

However, don't let the nightlife steal all your attention as there are many great hen party activities to be enjoyed during the day, as well as plenty of opportunities for an afternoon of retail therapy!

Transfers for your Newcastle Hen Weekend

Voted 8th best party city in the world, Newcastle is guaranteed to be an amazing hen party destination.

Get the laughs rolling and those booties shaking with the 50 Shades of Grey Inspired Dance Class before enjoying cocktail making and a two-course meal for lunch.

If you're not a Grey girl, some of our other top dance classes include Burlesque, Single Ladies, 90s, Pole Dancing, Spice Girls, Thriller, ABBA and Twerking!

At night take to the water with a riverboat cruise that comes complete with dinner and drinks, enjoy a guided club and bar crawl before finishing up with a reserved booth with spirits and mixers.

For day two of your hen weekend in Newcastle enjoy brunch with bottomless Prosecco and then recover from the night before with a pamper party.

Enjoy a tipsy afternoon tea before getting dolled up by a professional makeup artist, a guaranteed way to look and feel your best as you hit the town.

In the evening, enjoy Cocktail Making with a 3-Course Dinner and then hit the club, skip the queues and enjoy our exclusive Hen Party Package.

Newcastle hen party activities are as diverse and mental as the city itself.

From world-class shopping to cheeky hen party fun like cocktail making or Butlers in the Buff to a classy affair like a Bottomless Prosecco Brunch, Newcastle will send the bride-to-be out with a bang during her hen weekend.

Other top hen party activities in Newcastle include Geordie Games, Chocolate Making, Lap Dance Class, Afternoon Tea with Champagne, Garter Making, Nude Life Drawing, Pamper Days and an Old School Sports Day.

Party your last night of singleton like a true Geordie during your hen weekend in Newcastle.

Unrivalled and out-of-this-world, if you're looking for a seriously unforgettable night on the Toon during your hen weekend, you'll find it hard to beat Newcastle - this truly is the party capital of the North-East.

Regardless of where you are in the world, you can never go wrong with a guided Bar Crawl & Club Combo on the first night of your hen weekend. This is the best way to sample the best Newcastle has to offer, rub shoulders with some locals and get a feel for the city.

The main hot spots you're going to want to focus on are The Bigg Market, The Quayside, Central Station and The Gate, which is a multi-level indoor complex housing a number of restaurants, clubs, casinos and more.

And, the street names to look out for include Grey Street, Collingwood Street, Neville Street, Pilgrim Street, Osbourne Street and Dean Street.

Wherever you go, you're guaranteed to be met with charm, a great atmosphere and unmatched friendliness and great prices.

If you and the girls are not one for walking, we have some great nightlife options that are easy on the heels too.  During the warmer months, nothing beats getting out on the water, Maximise can sort you out with a BBQ Party Cruise, a Riverboat Club Cruise or if you up for it, there is even a Pirate-themed Party Cruise.

Other great nightlife options include a Variety Cabaret Show, a Party Bus, a Cocktail Party with Butlers in the Buff or our personal favourite, the X-Rated Girls Night Out.

Nestled on the north bank of the River Tyne, Newcastle is one of the UK's most vibrant cities and one of Maximise's top hen party locations.

Bursting with rich history, culture, attractions and of course great shopping and food, Newcastle is one city that never fails to impress to hoards of visitors that flock there each year.

You'll also find great Northern prices, which is always a bonus during a hen weekend!

During your downtime, there are some must-see areas and sights including The Bigg Market, The Gate and The Quayside, all of which double as top nightlife areas as well. Due to the city centre being relatively compact, you'll get away with walking around for the majority of your hen weekend.

Otherwise, you'll find plenty of taxis, buses and the metro. If you opt for the metro, they operate a yellow and green line from 6 am to 11 pm. You can get single-pass tickets from £1.40 to about £3.60 depending on your length of travel, otherwise, you can grab a day pass if you think you'll be hoping-on and hoping-off a few times.

And, if your an art buff,  you can get your art fill at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.

Nobody wants to deal with finding passports, changing pounds into funny money, or sitting about at the airport for a flight, so why not keep it on these shores for your hen weekend.

If Newcastle doesn't make the cut check out Bristol, Southampton, Manchester, Leeds, Manchester, Chester, York, London, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Birmingham Brighton and Blackpool to name a few.
