There is no denying Benidorm is a firm favourite among us Brits for an abroad holiday, it's so popular they even made a TV show about it, so it makes sense why our hen parties flock there year after year.
Without a doubt, Benidorm sees more hen parties than any other European hen destination and with beautiful beaches, breath-taking sights and over 2,000 bars and clubs, it's very easy to understand why it's the most famous and sought after seaside holiday resorts on the Costa Blanca.
More importantly, Benidorm is ultra-affordable and you and the girls are guaranteed to have an amazing time without breaking the bank, or more importantly the wedding budget!
When it comes to sunny Benidorm, there are a few things that are a must for your hen weekend, generally, they involve beaches, water, bars and some great nightlife.
Start your Benidorm hen weekend from the moment you leave the airport with our Luxury Party Transfers before taking to the water with a Private Catamaran Cruise.
Spend your evening relaxing with the famed Palace Show with Dinner before embarking on a great bar crawl around Benidorm's best watering holes.
On day two of your hen weekend, get amazing panoramic views of this coastal resort with Tandem Parasailing during the day and a Jeep Safari in the evening.
For your evening entertainment, get the Magic Mike Experience, this is guaranteed to be a show to remember. Finish your night off at a beachfront club where you'll enjoy a VIP area and some drinks with the girls.
Benidorm really does not do things by half measure, some of the top hen party activities include jet boats, banana boats, flying fish, beachfront hen party, parasailing, pole dancing, cocktail making and a catamaran cruise.
For the evening the top activities include Hen Palace Show, stripper, Moon Beach VIP Area, Butler in the Buff and taking a ride in the Party Bus.
Oh, how wrong you'd be if you thought Benidorm meant dormir bien or sleep well.
This coastal resort city does anything but sleep. In fact, it does the polar opposite, especially in the lively and vibrant area Levante.
Levante is where you'll only ever be a stone's throw away from the beach or the bar, which is exactly what you think of when it comes to a hen weekend in the sun-kissed resort of Benidorm. Levante is also where you'll find a never-ending Happy Hour and a bustling ‘English Square' where cheap drinks flow and drink discounts are in abundance.
And, as for the beachfront itself, this is where you'll find some of the city's trendiest and wildest clubs, all of which Maximise can get you entry to as well as some great drink packages.
Other nightlife areas that impress our hen parties include Calle Mallorca and Calle Gerona or for a short taxi ride, you can head to Avenida Communitat Valencia, which is the main street that cuts through the centre of Benidorm and boasts everything from Cabaret Shows and live music venues to super clubs.
Benidorm's nightlife certainly aims to impress the masses and while there is so much on offer, it's a good idea to get your bearings and make sure you get to sample the best of it with our Smashed Bar Crawl. Perfect for the first night, a guided bar crawl gives you the opportunity to explore Benidorm's nightlife and get a feel for what you really like.
Other absolute must-do activities for your hen party in Benidorm include the sizzling-hot Magic Mike Experience.
After spending several hours cooped-up in the departures hall and on a cramped plane, Maximise recommends taking our direct and comfortable Airport Transfers to your hen party accommodation.
Our transfers are hassle-free, convenient and affordable. Just what the start of every Benidorm Hen Weekend should be.
While it should be common knowledge to only use legally licensed taxis, it seems everyone has a horror story about being ripped off by a taxi driver when they visit a foreign country. So, if you think you might end needing a taxi, Maximise has a few tips and ideas for your Benidorm Hen Weekend.
The local taxi company in Benidorm is Radio Taxi and although these taxis do all operate on a fixed price basis, this "fixed price" can and often does vary depending on your journey and if you have luggage, meaning fares can get a bit pricey. Night fares are also more expensive.
All taxis must have current tariffs and supplements clearly visible, often stuck to the rear windows or behind the front seats. The meter ticks over according to distance and not speed, however, the meter will also tick over during traffic jams and at traffic lights.
These guys also don't like to wait. If you book a taxi, make sure you don’t keep the driver waiting because drivers are allowed to charge if you keep them waiting.
A number of regions throughout Benidorm also include a base fare and some will also fix a minimum fare regardless of how far you travel.
When it comes to large journeys, between two towns for example or from the airport to your accommodation, the price isn’t covered by the meter but is a fixed price and covers the entire cost of the trip.
