GOOD TO KNOW:
This Boutique 4 Star Hotel is also located right near the top nightlife areas of Bastille and Oberkampf. And, if you were to take the line 5 from République metro, you'll be at Gare d'Austerlitz in 5 stops, which is where you'll find hoards of great clubs playing all the dancefloor favourites. You'll find the majority of them in Cité de la Mode et du Design or City of Fashion and Design for us non-French speaking people. Some of the most notable clubs include Café Oz, Wanderlust, Communion, Garage and Nnuits Fauves.
As for shopping, you can either walk to Forum des Halles in about 15-minutes or take line 4 from Arts et Métiers, Réaumur-Sébastopol or Strasbourg–Saint-Denis to either the metro stop Châtelet or Les Halles. Les Halles is closer to the shops, but essentially they are the same station, just at different ends. You could also take line 11 from Arts et Métiers to Châtelet.
From women's fashion to men's fashion, children's fashion, beauty, sport, leisure – the Forum des Halles has it all and has attracted all of the top brands. If you want to shop and can't afford the designer shops that are on the famous Champs-Elysées Avenue, Les Halles is where you'll want to head during your hen weekend in Paris.
