The home of Robin Hood and the home of the UK hen weekend, You can't go wrong with a Nottingham hen do.
From popular tourist attractions to hidden gems and a plethora of hen party activities, Nottingham is a city steeped in history, culture and character.
Nottingham is one of our most popular hen party destinations. We have a wide range of fantastic activities available, as well as some great nightlife options. There is so much to choose from as Nottingham has the most hen do activities of any of our UK locations.
All your favourites are there, so for the girls who want to mix cocktails, unwind in the spa or partake in a dance class, Nottingham has exactly what you need. The typical hen party activities aren’t for everyone so why not try the hysterical Old School Sports Day! There is no better activity for making the girls laugh, plus you can reminisce about all those sports days you refused to take part in…
Nottingham’s nightlife is the stuff of legends, you can barely walk 100 metres in the city centre without running into a bar. Being a university city means there are tonnes of cheap bars and affordable clubs for you to visit too.
One of the best around is the Rock City club, it’s without a doubt one of the top live music venues in the UK and it doubles up as a nightclub.
There are so many bars in Nottingham it makes sense to sample the best the city has to offer. A Maximise Bar Crawl will show you where to go and where to avoid on a night out, but if you’re feeling something a little more extravagant you could always check out our X Rated Girls Only Cruise! This luxurious cruise lasts 3 hours, and there are G-string wearing waiters on board to serve you. After the cruise, you and the girls will get entry into PRYZM nightclub.
Travelling around Nottingham is very simple. If you want an easy way to travel around, without cash, you can get a Robin Hood card from one of the 130 machines around the city. You can top it up as you go and the card costs as little as £2.
Another alternative is the bus or tram services. Nottingham’s travel is award-winning so you’ll have no problems getting from A to B. If you’re travelling from London you can expect a train journey of around 2 hours or less, and the tickets can be found as cheap as £30 one way, off-peak.
Nottingham is supposedly home to Britain’s oldest Inn. The Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Inn claims to be the oldest in the country and it also claims to have its own resident ghosts! Time to get paralytic with the paranormal.
It wouldn’t be a hen party without a hangover but luckily for you, Ibuprofen was invented in Nottingham and with the big nights ahead you’ll be needing some! Obviously, it is available anywhere, but considering it was made here it probably won’t be in short supply. But if popping pills first thing in the morning doesn’t appeal to you then try a different kind of Hangover Cure.
