The sun in shining, the Hen Weekend has begun and that means the drinks should start flowing! With that in mind, an ideal activity for day one of a Hen Do is our Mediterranean Sea Cruise. You and the girls will spend 4 hours enjoying the beautiful surroundings on a traditional Maltese boat. There is also a trip included to the Blue Lagoon in Comino so pack some swimwear!
After you've all enjoyed the lovely Cruise its time to hit up some of Malta's terrific nightlife. The first day is without a doubt the best time to head to the local bars for a Top Night Out and trust us, it isn't called a top night for no reason. If you've never been to Malta before then a guided bar crawl will give you some ideas on where to go, and what to do on the Hen Do.
A big night out in the streets of Malta is enough to give a hangover to even the most experienced drinker, and what's the best way to cure a hangover? No, not bacon... just keep drinking. So how about some Wine Tasting? Malta is home to plenty of vineyards and their signature Gellewza and Ghirghentina grape varieties are exclusive to Malta and surrounding islands. Exclusive grapes mean exclusive taste! And perfect for a hen party!
The second night of a Hen Do is THE big night. The night that will make or break you all as a group and our VIP Club & Bottles package is the perfect way to ensure your second night goes off without a hitch. A reserved area is a lovely way to party the night away, plus we all know how easy girls get lost in a club...
We have already highlighted a few of Malta's best activities, but this beautiful Archipelago has a lot more to offer a group of girls looking to party the weekend away...
Firstly you really can't say Hen Do without a Spa Day, or better yet a relaxing day in the Hammam. What else could you possibly want than some sunbathing in the day, relaxing and rejuvenating in the afternoon and dancing the night away in the clubs?
Being an island, Malta has a large array of watersports and water-based activities. So much so that it would be impossible to ignore some of the best ones such as a ride on a Jet Ski. If you haven't done this before then we have to recommend it and during the boiling summer months, a dip in the ocean won't go amiss, even if you need to fall off to reach it!
If falling off seems like the best part then maybe the Flyboard or the Banana Boat is more your style?
Not every activity takes place outside, we can also offer loads of indoor activities to keep the house mouses happy! One of our favourites is our Pole Dancing Class, its pretty self explanatory, but even more fun! Plus the hen might learn a move or two for the honeymoon...
Malta may not have the most insane party atmosphere but that doesn't stop this Hen Heaven from throwing up or two big nights on a Hen Weekend.
The main nightlife is located in and around the Saint Julians area, where you'll most likely be staying. There are a massive amount of pubs and incredible nightclubs, as well as gorgeous local guys who are very welcoming to a group of Hens.
You can't only drink during the Hen weekend, you have to eat at some point and a Traditional Dinner is a way to go about it. You and the girls will have a delectable 3-course meal, with some local wine included to quench your thirst!
The Mediterranean awaits and so do plenty of Boat Parties! Can you imagine heading to the stunning, sunny Malta and not enjoying a night out on the sea? We sure can't, but that's just because we've experienced it before. A Boat Party is a must do anywhere but in a prime holiday destination such as Malta, it would be almost blasphemous not to do it.
Visit a Vineyard or two, Malta has two kinds of grapes exclusive to the Archipelago (Gellewza and Ghirghentina) and therefore produces Wine with its very own, exclusive flavour. It may be known for Wine but Malta also has its own traditional beer, called Cisk.
The alcohol is pretty cheap, you'll pay around €2-2.50 for a pint of beer and around the same amount for a regular sized glass of Wine.
If you're willing to travel from Saint Julians down to Valletta then it's well worth visiting the Upper Barrakka Gardens. They're in an ideal spot to enjoy some lunch, a cocktail outside with the girls, or just to chill out and take in some sun.
Travelling through Malta is fairly easy, and cheap. You pay around €2 for a bus ticket, which is valid for 2 hours and unlimited journeys. Alternatively, you could buy a week-long pass for just €21! Giving you unlimited bus travel in that period.
For the Hen who likes some history and ancient architecture, it would be good to go see the old city centre, Mdina. There are quite a few museums and a selection of lovely cafes so you there is plenty to do here.
